First of all i hate whinging the my car doesnt wokr etc, but im not sure whats wrong with it.

So i was driving home from N.E down the hume to melb, hit the traffic and when i went to accellerate gently, it coughed and splutters, so i put my foot down and no she went. This happens nearly all the time now. You cant drive i sedately, it doesent like it, u have to put you boot in and then it goes quite well. But you can see my prob, i cant drive like this everday!! nor do i want to.

It feels really "doey" from 1500rpm-2500rpm (makes no power here). I have changed anything just driven it. Man it frustrates me.

I ahev been told its a fuel issue, like injectors are dirty etc? I put Nulon injector cleaner through it but no luck.

Any thoughts or help please?

I planning on putting new plugs, leads and having the injectors proffessionally cleaned and getting the thing re flashed tuned. Hope that my make a difference. Also i have fitted a new fuel filter and pump last year..

I did that recently but yeh il do it again, the only way is to disconnect the battery yeh?

I would also look at the dizzie. sometimes the rotor cap can foul up. clean with emery tape and brake cleaner and try again. This can make the spark 'break' down at certain revs

If its only at light throttle, maybe the TPS is dirty and screwing up the output at that point of throttle application.

OK thanks for that guys il do that when i get a chance. I have replaced the injectors with reconditioned ones and its doesnt seem to do it as much. Although it is hard to start now. I cn see any leaks etc, it starts 1 sec or more after u turn the key. least its starts tho.
