Hey, just need to freshen up my engine bay as at the moment i have a dodgy painted and modded airbox and air intake tube (to throttle body) thanks to the previous owner.

I tried searching but it doesnt seem to want to work.

Whats the best intake system for the i6's?

Ive heard of people putting BA intakes into their EF/EL's just wondering would a BA Turbo airbox work (with the extra intake tubes directed somewhere else, im thinking meshed/filtered hole where cornering lamps normally are)

Any and all ideas appreciated or links to a thread with some info (cant search)

Use your standard intake box, get the platic BA bit that comes off the throttlebody, and then get a 3in pipe of steel or plastic to run between the airbox and the BA intake piece. You will need a piece of silicon hose somewhere between t/b and airbox to allow for engine movement.

Then just run xh/ba snorkel and either buy the typhoon lower intake (runs from the front of the airbox to behind the headlight) or make a cheap one yourself from ea intake tubing (fordfreak did this).
