Have Au Ute and am having prob with remote locking. Does anyone have any ideas? :roll:

When u try to lock it the indicators flash and horn goes but doesnt lock. Any ideas?? :roll:

If a door is ajar the horn will beep 3 times quickly

Door is shut. Can lock with key ok but not remote. Horn beeps but doesnt lock. Do u think door needs realignment??

I get the same with my ute from time to time - sounds like the Tibbe lock cycling fault. There is a good doco about this on the Fordforums.com.au website, if no one can help you out here.

First thing would be to try changing the battery in your remote.

Have you taken the drivers door trim off recently?
