hey guys, i am starting to collect parts for my ed run around.

ill will be doing these mods after the 17th of december (hollidays) but thought i would start the thread now.

just a quick low down of the car, i bought it off ebay 2 weeks ago.
its an auto ed with s**t house seats (bloody kids).
it does have a few dints and a rather large scratch on the front gard. but have a mate who will be doing the body work for me.
it runs like a dream even with 255thou K's on her.

i am chasing parts so if you can help me with;

e series excractors
ed passenger mirror
ed gli steering wheel, or boss kit and sports wheel
ultra low rear and super low front springs
cam gear

that would be awesome.

wheels..

what do you guys think of ftr's?
i was going to run black stockys with chrome wheel trims and nuts..
but have found a decent setof ftr's for 450, is it worth it?

ill will be doing a full photo build for you guys and am doing it all at once i.e;
seats, dash, gearbox will be all pulled out at the start.
then peddle box, gearbox, amp wires will be put in. then my new seats will be put in..

sugestions are most welcome on this mini build..

some pics for you. 8-)

Should come out good. I reckon the FTR's are a bit small and out dated now. I think they are only 16". Id go a bit bigger in wheel size. There are so many nice wheels available now and pretty cheap as well.

I have the EL GT 17's on my car. They suite it quite well. Dont know if you share the same taste but worth thinking about.

Well back about 4 years ago when i got mine i paid $1900 for them and they were copys.
I am pretty sure the place i got them from now sells them new for around $1300 with tyres. They are available in champane gold or shadow silver. I got the shadow silver.

Hi.

Looks like a reasonable base to start with there.

You also seem to have a good plan for what mods you want to do.

Looking forward to further updates.

Cheers
