Hi, trying to work out what runs off the Acc relay in an NL fairlane..?
The relay in my car clicks as soon as you plug it in, and then proceeds to heat up to the point where you can't touch it... Any ideas what would be causing this? or even just some of the things that operate off this relay? Thanks. |

Unplug the power window panel in the ctr console, then plug in the ACC relay.

From memory, its pretty much everything that works when you have the key turned to accessories...
Windows, heater fan, wipers and seats would probably be the culprits for biggest current users. |

If it's the ACC relay in the fusebox, I'm assuming it's set up like the fairmonts/ghias, it only provides power to the power windows. The low series cars have it powering the heaterbox blower fan. edsprint wrote: Tried it, but still the same result... Anything else I could try?? Yep, remove the power window cct breaker, and plug the relay in. Other than that, get some wiring diagrams and a meter, and get to work.
