hey all just wondering y my battery light keeps showing up on my dash cluster it does stay on just comes qand goes a few time a day and then sum time when i i drive over a bump it flickers.could it be a loose terminal?

Check all your connections starting with the plug on the Alternator then the earth strap to the side of the motor, mine had similar problem last week and i think that my alternator was on its way out so bought another one but had different plug but i was smart enough to grab the plug that was on the alternator as it was a motocraft one and mine was a ford one but soldered the new plug into the line so can run either now.

One differance i notice now with the new alternator is it charges dead on 13.8 and doesent move either way as the previous one did and now i can also run my high beam without the alternator dropping out.

i think you need a new alternator

it's usually the problem

but diagnose it to be safe

the bosch alternators dont get problems very often 90% of the time if you have a problem it will be wires or brushes

go with a new altenator.

ive done a few altenators on falcons at work because of the battery light on the dash and that has solved the problem each time.
