hi all. just after some info
I've got a diff out of a ef v8 wagon that's got a 3.23 ratio and also has a performance diff tag on it . dose that tag mean LSD or v8 diff.
2. whats the difference between the I6 gearbox v8 box

1. Performance diff is 4 Pinion open centre

2. Alot. Input shaft length, Bellhousing, gearing

so the tag just saying that it's a v8 diff . not a lsd

There is no difference between a i6 diff and a V8 diff.

As above, its a 4 pinion center, it can be LSD or Open.

The High Performance basically states it has 4 spider gears as opposed to 2 in a lower end diff.

ok thanks for info guys .... as for the gearbox can the I6 T5 be modified to fit the 5.0l

It has been done, but involves modifying the input shaft length. Look for Banarcus' thread.

EB2 onwards all Falcons got the 4 pinion until the BA.
