casting number as your thread title states, what do you mean by significance?
it's not a tickford head. are you asking how the 94AB compares to other castings? this should be in 6cyl forum too...

the 94ab is a std late ed/ef and early el head.. 94 = 1994 production..
oh and moved to 6 cyl forum.. |

The casting numbers/part numbers are the what the part was originally made for. The A actually stands for Fairlane. and the B is the plant the part is made in.
