XR9UTE, yeah even with the stock cam with 1.7 rr in a mustang yields awesome times. I have read on Corral about a 93 Mustang with the same edelbrock heads, kenne bell blower, 1.7rr, exhaust, extractors, stock cam running 11.95sec 1/4 mile. I should think in an EL Fairmont Ghia would be in the late 12's or mid 13's depending on other factors.

Not sure if the manta exhaust is worth that amount of money mild steel but I would think getting a custom made twin 2.5" exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers and resonator would be a lot more $$$ wouldn't it??

Depends how long they take to make it? I would have though it would cost less than a grand in steel. Although I'm probably out of touch with prices as I tend to make my own.

just a stocko 220 at the moment,
the money factor was the biggest thing when getting the exhaust but still very happy with the purchase.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Special thanks to 3x-puursui7 for the video clip. That was the deciding factor for me choosing this exhaust setup. Booking it in shortly.

Cheers

Also in my quote from Best mufflers is a X pipe.

You can get the Magnaflow mufflers & cats from Australia's best at a very good price and get Chris to make up the rest of the system. My brother saved $100.00 for 2 stainless steel Magnaflow mufflers when he bought them from Australia's best. They have better buying power or Chris does not budge with his prices.
