i think my lifters are making noise i herd its a common problem in the au3s? how would i go about fixing this ticcking sounds its only really when i give bit of a trashing it makes the sound or when cold

You will have to replace the lifters, there about 140 bucks for a set of them or the cheaper way is to go to the wreckers and get a set of rockers from a 4 ltr au , make sure they look in good nick and replace it that way


Either way the rocker cover will have to come off to replace them.

sounds like a easy job i can do in my back yard
