Hi there,just a quick question.Ive done the 5speed conversion and im just wondering if i still need to do the resister trick as my ecu is only running the smartlock im still using the standard loom.The car is a burnout-powercruise type car.Im running a 600v/s holley,fuel cell,holley pumps,100hp of nos,fully rebuilt xe dizzy.Im guessing that i will still need to do this as the ecu is still thinking its a auto as it wont turnover.Cheers for your help

you need to bridge the 2 wires that went to the inhibitor switch/gear position switch to complete the starter curcuit from the auto box loom..
the resistor trick is only to stop high idle when they are efi..
so being a carbi no need for the resistor trick..
