The theory is sound, earthing problems are very common and have lots of negative effects. Depending on the cost I think it is a decent product.

it's a good thing in theory, but wether it's worth the expense and time is debateable

It's just a heap of cables from your engine (5) to you battery -ve terminal. Don't pay for that s**t, do it yourself if your interested.
These days our engines are fairly well earthed as it is, don't even bother if you have a car that was built from about 1990 on. Your injectors wont be any better because they earth through the computer. Your spark is such a low current that i can't see that benefiting either.

I think they are wanting about $320 for the kit

There was a similar thing being plugged at the 2004 All Ford Day in Sydney. Sounds good, but yeh, if you're that keen to do it, just run 4ga everywhere
I'd have to agree with the concept, as the EA-EL falcons have s**t earth.. the only earth link from the battery goes to the bottom of the block via a crappy 8ga wire.

In addition to what I said before the only component that is highly reliant on the engines block earth strap is the starter motor. Most other items have their own earth wire.
Sounds like marketing bull s**t to me.

Yes, and most of those are earthed to the chassis. No harm in buying $20 of 4ga and giving it a go

Kit prices are $253 for Red, Blue, Yelow and smoke, and $319 for Gold and Silver. I do think it is a good idea because as I said earthing issues are a problem in a lot of cars (even later model ones), but for that price I would just be making up my own.

And where would these wires go to, and from where?

remember that thinker wire will cary more current yes, but if ur not using alot of current then its a waste of time money and u will have more voltage drop as more wire means more resistance.

Longer wire will mean more resistance, but adding extra wire (which will run in parallel to the bonies earthing system) will reduce overall resistance so valtage drop will be less. |

Which 5 points would you connect the wires to, also they say to connect one to the cylinder head but would that work with aluminium heads+ alloy radiator if that is another.

They basically daisy chain, almost like 1 wire from the neg terminal, terminating at several other 'critical' spots around the engine, and engine bay
so perhaps from the Neg Terminal, to the Shock Tower, to the Engine Block, to the Head, to the Bell Housing.
