Hey i have an AUII and wanted to paint some of the interior plastics. I was hoping to paint some of them that light silver found on the dash of BA/BF.

Just wondering if anyone knows where I can get the stuff or something similar. Also i have never painted interior before and any tips would be appreciated.

hey i painted some of the interior in my ef,i used a vinyl paint. it looked great for a while,but didnt hold up very well,has scratches in the paint and i have to do it again. you will probably need a bonding agent,but get some good advice before you do it. try autobarn. make sure you take the time to tape things properly so u dont get overspray,take everything u want to spray out of the car first. sounds obvious but i know some ppl who didnt.

normal enamel spray will work well as long as you prep the peices properly
* make sure there cleaned properly, no dust, grime, grease or anything that will wreck your paint job.
* give it a little sand to help the paint stick, not too course paper, id use 120 grit
* good coat with primer
* light sand any imperfections
* least 2 coat of colour

and clear coat if you want

^^^
what he said.
my 2 cents,
-make sure its a plastic/acrylic primer for plastic/fibreglass
-from memory the b series have a matt to satin finish so if your going for that look use a matt/satin paint (not gloss) and dont clear coat it. but if you do want it shiney then gloss it up and add all the clear coats you want
