My volt meter is reading low when driving 10 or below on the scale.Sometimes the red light comes on.It will go up to normal for 1 or 2 minutes and then drop back.New alternator 10 months ago.Battery is 4-5 years old.
Climate control can take up to 10 - 15 minutes to power up.Have reset but no errors. |

Thanks for that.Probably time for a new one.
Would that solve the climate control not powering up staight away ? |

Could be, what area are you in?
Get your battery tested first. I have spares here that we could test in your car.

check the voltage across the terminals before you start the car for the first time in the morning. if its below 12v your batt isnt holding charge (but that would also cause starting/cranking issues)
check the voltage across the terminals whilst the car is running (it should be 13.8v) anything lower than that and your alt/voltage reg is stuffed if you dont have a multimeter you can get a cheap one at super cheap for around the $10 mark
