NGK LASER PLATINUM
Laser Platinum spark plugs provide high ignitability and longer service life. Dual platinum surfaces ensure slow wear rate providing stable idle, superior anti fouling, improved fuel efficiency and lower emissions. Laser welded Platinum center electrode tip Platinum disc welded to backside of ground electrode provides long life Trivalent Metal Plating provides superior anti-corrosion and anti-seizing properties Faster starts and quicker acceleration Better fuel economy and lower emissions Best Platinum spark plug available Original Equipment Manufacturer approved design bit pricey but, the above makes me sound on to it but it's cut and past... google NGK or plantuim spark plugs...at the end of the day you get what you pay for |

Where on a BA XR6 are the spark plugs? under the engine cover? are they easy to replace? Is the step by step guide anywhere?
Thanks. |

Just take the "tappets, tappet cover" (the black bit of plastic). Remove the coils, but them aside, make sure you put the right coils back in the right spot when your done (normally the wire isn't long enough to reach any other coil holder). Then remove the spark plugs under where the coils are. Put new spark plugs in. Put coils back over the top where they were originally. Assemble the plastic back over. 30 minute job if you have a beer. |
