Hey guys, anyone know if this is possible?

Also, spinning the wheels in reverse the other day, car jumped and jerked like the axle was falling out, sounded terrible, did it a few times, any ideas?

Cheers
Matt

EF/EL already lock the convertor in 3rd. Try running an EF/EL ECU or wiring up a switch to the solenoid.

If you could look here for me mate:
http://www.fordforums.com.au/vbportal/modules.php?name=Content&file=viewarticle&id=36

I've the 4L fairmont, second set of shift points in the list, it says "Note: 3rd gear lockup only achieved in M3 (Manual 3) and not in D3 (Drive 3), could anyone explain this a little more?

And we can hook up a switch to the torque converter? Any idea why we wouldnt do this? Could it cause any damage? Cheers

Matt
