hey guys

picked up a sony HU 2nd hand for dads hilux last nite - but i'm lost as to how to change it over :? mind you it was pitch black when i tried, but i undid the 5 visable screws, yet the surround wouldn't budge in the slightest - can anyone shed any light on this at all? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! :wink:

pull the plastic cover off under the steering wheel first, thisis screwed on over stero surround, pull off heater control things, take out ashtray two screws under there, also panel under stereo surround.

yeah i know - 1/2 the bloody dash had to come out just to remove the s**t tape-deck! :? besides that, its a good car :wink:
