Just curious what the part number is for the MLS Au Head gasket?
How much will this raise my compression ratio? and is it worth getting the head milled for trueness at the same time? also where can i get the steel head gaskets for the au and do i need to modify anything to fit it to my ed?

i dont know the part number for the head gasket.. ford sell them.. all you need to ask for is a head gasket for an au falcon 4.ol.
at a guess without technically measuring the cyl i would say it may rise the comp aprox .5 yes get the head milled/shaved .. ford have the mls gaskets , and it will fit directly onto your ed ... oh and the topic has been moved to the 6 cyl forum... |

no mods required to fir AU gasket. I have one on my ED. Put it on at 370.000kms, now has 500,000 and no leaks. They cost bout 100 form ford, but last time i needed one i had trouble as they were on back order. Try again, if not then jim mock can get a steel one just as good for the same price.

I have a brand new one in the shed only opened it to look at it. Then I went copper gasket on mine. If anyone is interested you can pm me your offers if you want.

i just put a aftermarket fuel regulator on my car today and wound it up to 30psi from the standard 20psi and went little better but any chance too much pressure could cause problems or wear something out?
