Gidday, My AUII ute front metal needs some attention and I was considering the idea of fitting BA / BF fenders, hood, lights, bar etc to change the look.

Any ideas? Easy swap?
Thanks

I've seen it done on an AU wagon and an AU ute both looked good. I spoke to the guy who had the wagon, I think he said the B series were a bit wider in places so it wasn't just a bolt on job, but if you're handy it shouldn't be to hard.

The body part is the same mostly. The width is the same but you are going to have to change some parts that are not bolt on. The Front lower tie rail is the same but the Rad support is totally different.
You can salvage a few of the AU parts, the Bumper Bar plastic honeycomb reinforcements are the same and I am sure that you could leave the rest of the inner skirts there and modify to accept the BA front rad support.

I have seen an AUII with a BA front on and it looked pretty good actually
