i have worked my self into a corner and am faced with 3 choises the way i see it...

i have a NA Fairlane running a Ed Xr6 motor, right now the engine is running off all the stock Na gear, goes quite well to, but i have the Ed Xr6 Ecu sitting in my room just waiting to make it run better..

now i want to replace the front/ engine/ and dash looms, becuase they have been butchered by the previous owner ( its a really messy soldery wrong colored wire job) so

Choice 1: Buy a wrecked Ed fairmont or Nc fairlane switch all the wiring and accesories over (smartlock, dash, climate, trip comp) plug in the Xr6 Ecu and off i go, neat but expensive.!

Choice 2 : buy a new Ea dash and front loom, have the ea ecu running all the bells and whistle, and mount the ed xr ecu in the engine bay and try to make it run the engine management and the transmission and stuff, cheap but im not sure if i cant make it work, cos i dont have alot off expereince wiring ecu's.

Choice 3 : sell my reco'd Xr Ecu and my 79 toyota T-18 and work hard saving for a couple of months and buy and aftermarket management system, also a new front and dash loom to clean up the messy mess, good solution but doesnt fit the time frame very well....

im looking for any suggestions or comments from people who had similar problems...
