i dont know cos i havnt got one, but say you select RANGE /KM or whatever for distance to empty, and then turn the car off, when you trun it back on, does it come back onto the DTE? or does it always reset to the clock?

It always returns to the clock, however the first press of the search button will bring up the last thing that was displayed when the key was turned off last.
