Hey all,
I am in the market to start gathering pipe, elbows ect for a nice airbox to throttle body setup. Now i have seen the CHROME "Super Crap" Caliber Brand bends and sillycon joiners. BUT............ is it some what cheaper to get mild steel exhaust pipe bends? I have been told they are not so cheap. I know that it would require finishing / polishing or painting of the mild steel exhaust ect but that is no probs. thanks in advance MITCHY

there are 2 problems i find with mild steel ..
1 the heat that the steel will soak up compared to the factory plastic one is heaps.. 2 the mild steel will rust internally after time.. and before you say no water get there, moisture in the air when cold or raining still gets in there.... |
