Have a look on the passengers side of the block to see if it is leaking out of the sender for the warning light on the guage cluster. if not, just try and track the leak.

spoke to my mate whos a Mech he seems to think it may be the Oil Filter Gaskit Failing but however i should mention on the left side of the engine when it was idling theres oil thats splashed up however on the left side of the motor also there are no warning lights coming on the dash so i have no clue what the problem might be

How far up the block on the side, and by left, is that looking at the motor? or do you mean passengers side? if it behind the oil filter and higher up, the the sender for the guage is leaking/busted

cooper filter gaskets have failed on me a few times, if the filter even came with a gasket to begin with, I bought a box of 12, 6 had no gaskets to start with!

might sound funny but check the filter is even on there. might be a case of pot luck it didn't fall off between there and sydney it's been known to happen.
i use k&n filters and tie wire them on but thats just the OCD lol are these things still having the oil pressure sender problems they had 20 years ago ?
