Just wondering if anyone knows what bulbs Ford uses on the interior lights ie the dame light, map lights, door laps and fotwell lights?

Is it posisble to unplug old blulb and chuck one in that is newer and threfore brighter?

Dome Light (Festoon) : Festoon 10W 11 x 41mm
Map Lights : H5W
Rear Coutesy Lights Upper : T4W
Rear Coutesy Light Lower : W5W
Foot Wells : W5W
Door Lights : W5W

I think they're all correct.

I personally use Philips cool globes they're a bit brighter and make white light without the 'Rice Effect'

outies!

Try ebay and replace them with LED bulbs, they'll last forever and be much brighter.

Try ebay!

Dont bother with higher wattage/brighter incandescent bulbs, they will just melt the plastic lens and housing.
Go LED, brighter, no heat, and last forever.

Link, this seller has a heap of different ones available

You can get all these globes from virtualy any auto shop,
even the servo around the corner sells them.

I'd personally got to autobarn and get philips ones.

As for l.e.d's they're far from as bright in multi-directional incandesants,
and you'll pay an arm and a leg for one that actually looks 'white' instead of blurry purple-white

I think repco call they're festoon globes in the philips variety "Premium"

Try stay away from Austra, Narva and err supercheap's nightvision.

All the best!
Andrew
