Gday,

I'm trying to find out if a company does a mandrel bent 3" system for the e-series I6. There are a few people i have called and they press bend them up which i don't want.

Cheers

not off the shelf, get a redback V8 rear section and the mid section custom made

Yep, 67RCE speaks the truth. Nobody makes a full three inch exhaust system for six cylinder Falcons. I think Manta do a 3" rear section for V8's too, but still you'll need to get the rest custom made.

If the system is for an N/A six cylinder, there are no gains to be had using a 3" system plus it sounds dreadful, you're best off staying with a 2.5" system which will probably be a quarter of the cost too.

i went 3" but its supercharged. with a hot dog,a centre mufler and a rear resinator it sound good..

and yes without a decent resinator it will sound good at idle but will sound like crap and resinate under load.

ok, I want to get a full 3" system with good mufflers so its not a droning annoying exhaust but still has nice flow. I will be supercharging it later but from what i have seen it does free up power a little bit up top end.
