Hi,
I've got myself a replacement, low km auto out of a Au 2 and I'm just wondering what (If anything) needs to be done to it to fit it to my Ef wagon. Thanks

It should bolt straight in. The only thing that might be different is that if your car is an EF1 it will have a dipstick, and the AU box won't.
Cheers BenJ

Thanks Ben.
Yeah mine does have a dipstick but I think I read here somewhere that it can be modded to fit the Au box. I can't seem to find the thread that has all the trans info...

To fit the dipstick you have to drill out the boss where the dipstick would normally go. Not something I myself would be keen on trying.

ie: in your case, use your original EF bellhousing to bolt onto the AU box because they share the same bolt pattern |
