How hard is it to install Pacemaker extractors into an AU?
Or if I pay someone to do it, how much should I expect to pay? |

weld? its all bolt on mate. migth have to manuver it but its all bolt in

i had a quote from my local bloke in toowoomba and he quoted me $80 fitted. for that much im not gonna bother trying to remove and replace it myself.

If u can bolt on ur pacemakers then just drive it to a exhaust shop to weld the cat and dont be suprised while driving to the exhaust shop that ur car is super loud and people will be giving u weird looks hahahaha

cost me about $100 to get mine fitted, and they did it within half hour. If you got the 'cant be's' then its worth paying a pro to do it. Otherwise for a novice, it can be done in about an hour or 2 if taking your time. Just make sure the car is cold when doing it otherwise it gets too hot to work under the bonnet.

Lol, completely wrong. A cat back exhaust will bolt straight up to your cat.... I mean have you even looked a set of extractors and the stock cat pipe? You'll instantly realise its not possible!!

No.
Look at an exhaust system. From the motor to the end of the car, you'll see a set of headers, some pipe, a catalytic converter, and then some more pipe. A Cat back exhaust is from the catalytic converter to the rear of the car - these are made to bolt straight up to the back end of the cat. To put a set of extractors on your car you need to cut down the pipe in front of the cat, then weld a flange onto it so you can bolt the extractors on. If you look at your stock setup you'll understand. |

yeh never real took notice of how high the flange is, now looking at pics on the paccies i realise the tail end on them it much longer, cheers lads
