So I’ve read most of the cat/exhaust threads I can and am a little confused.
I’m after a new cat. My exhaust was rattling all the time so I put it up on the hoist and its the cat. Sounds like the insides have fallen apart. So in reading what I can, it sounds like there are very differing opinions on whether to go standard or high flow. I currently have extractors and a 2.5” system so thought high flow might be the way to go. (It’s for my BA Ghia which is on LPG) Is there a particular brand that is recommended? Are any of the ones on eBay any good? They seem priced well. Is there any benefit in S/S or different core types? What is CPSI? And what CSPI is better? Looking forward to your recommendations and advice. Thanks for your help guys.

Get a 3" 100cpsi metal cat. Metal cat's last alot longer than a ceramic core, and the 100cpsi flows the best.

Just remember if your going from a standard cat to highflow, it makes the exhaust quite a bit louder.
