cool thanks, funny how the EL GT isnt that much quicker then an XR8 Sprint... and it is slower then the VK Grp3, doesnt matter the refinement makes up for it i suppose.

Now is the only time ford should be proud of their claimed quarter mile times, because they are pretty much spot on-only took 30 years though.

Funny how EF XR8 is .3 quicker than EL XR8. I knew those Explorer manifolds were a backward step! :P

i dont understand how a car with the same power and has 25 extra nm of torque car be 0.4 seconds slower when its only 10kg's heavier :s

Probably because they aren't all 208kw. The Japanese manufacturers couldn't put out anything greater than that, at least advertise it. You might find that the earlier GTRs had a lot more power than stated?

I think the AU TE50 times are a little too overly generous. Here is a roadtest done when new in 2001 with 0-100 6.8 0-400m 14.8. Some other interesting info too. http://www.aaa.asn.au/roadtests/reports/396.pdf
