Hey guys
I want to change the gear knob in my el auto, i would like to know what gear knobs fit straight on and does the ba knob fit cause I really like the look of them?

BA knobs can fit but requires some modification, couple of guys here have done it and i think have brief instructions on how to do it in there garage threads, maybe try have a search for the page and u might get luck unless the people that have done it want to possibly help him out??

I fitted the ba shifter
Basical mde a wedge that sat on the road, and then made a wedge to sit into the press button , you'll need to make a slit or 2 in the wedge, as this helps stabilize it.

also you'll mot likey have to knock a but of meet of the backside of the button to get the angles right, airbit of trial and error.

lastly but still important, the ba hifter mounts on a large shaft with a screw going through into the shaft, vs the thread on a thin shaft in the ef.

I machined a pieced of pvc to fit the ba shifter snuggly so I could press it on, and drilled it out and threaded it so it'd screw on to the ef shaft.

o get it operating nicely/consistently takes a lot of trial and error hence, I was never satisfied enough to put up a tech doc and be confident in it.
