Ive been looking online for a while and i cant seem to find any guides on how to lower a ba xr6 ute usuing lowering blocks, does anyone have one or know how to do it? cheers

My understanding is that due to the way the shackle plates and shock mounts are designed, you can't. Reset springs seem to be the go.

ive read on a couple of forums that u can use lowering blocks on them. with the stardard 17" wheels

I think you will be better off asking in a forum that specialises in BAs, as most members here have E Series.

Well from my understanding you just take out the standard blocks and put lowered ones in.

Ring up pedders for advice and if your desperate for that low ride look, I'd suggest to throw 10 X 20kilo bags of sand at the very rear of the tub.

mate meet through the same thing-ended up getting them reset- cost him 150 for the rears and 160 for the fronts(with springs) this was supply and fit. I think they were after 60 to get em reset. The bloke said they would not touch the blocks and reseting them was they way to go.

You can only go to a 1" block or else it hits the inner lip of the wheel.

thanks for the help guys i told the guy that he has to get the springs reset before i do anything.
