Hi folks, I am thinking about doing a basic top end rebuild on my EL XR8.

GT40Ps, new intake manifold, bigger TB and MAF

my question is, can i just bolt on a set of GT40P heads in place of my E7s and use the factory rockers or will this be a no go for clearance?

also can you buy a set of roller rockers to replace the factory ones without having to set them? (bolt ons

the reason i ask is i want to try and do all of the installation myself

cheers
Jason

Fit the shaft Yella Terra roller rockers with 1.72 ratio ..
http://www.yellaterra.com.au/products/c ... ockers.cfm
It will give you extra valve lift..
Replace valve springs on the GTP heads also..
The 1.72 r/rocker is close to the Sprint / GT cam specs..

ok now if i do this i will get extra lift which i like becuase i was not keen on changing the cam just yet, would it be a noticable difference?

with those rockers and GT40Ps with new springs and retainers can I just keep my standard pushrods? are those rockers adjustable? easy to adjust?

thanks

pushrods will be fine, they are a touch out, but nothing major. been running it for a while now.

The link you posted was to a generic yella terra page. you will find ther are both adjustable and non adjustable rockers for these, i ended up using the non adjustables ( got them for cheap)
