Check:
Autobarn Bursons Motormate Sprint Auto Supercheap Auto Motorquipe or any place that supplies car parts for general maintenance and servicing. Failing this, go to your nearest auto transmission technician and he will supply and fit one for you. Even try http://maps.google.com.au/maps/place?hl ... 6556174540

I have been told that there were problems with au n ba series falcons with the stock tranny cooler within the radiator! I was told that eventually the tranny fluid corroded the lines in the radiator and that the tranny fluid and coolant mixed causing huge problems!!
Im in the process of getting a pwr cooler (285x255x19) and it bypasses the original cooler all together! Should i run it through the original one then through this one or should i just run it through the pwr cooler?? Regards Nathan

Give this guy a ring - (Bruce) on 49 559448 National Transmission parts at Wallsend. Ask for a Borg Warner cooler kit for an AU - It comes with everything to fit it & it takes about 45mins to fit. He's a good bloke - He was the spare parts manager were i worked with him for 10 years & HE DOES GOOD DEALS FOR CASH! By-pass the radiator completely. Ford BA's were not the only make or models to have the heat exchanger in the radiator fail - Some cars it collapses completely & there is no cooler flow which melts geartrains from heat & lack of lubrication. If you tell him the specs of the hi-stall you want, He can arrange that as well... |
