Hey there,

i just purchased these same seats (not actual photo but same seats) from the wreckers, in very very good condition apart from slight wear on drivers side bottom leather which has worn...
complete front and back,

what would you be roughly be paying for something like these?

LOL, that pic is from the interior of my old Red EB Sedan haha.

Car is gone, but the seats have been put back in the ED Ghia they came out of.

Finding a set is not too hard. Finding a good drivers seat, is another matter altogether.

Many, including myself, consider these seats to be the best supportive seat that came out in an E Series. I love mine.

Cheers
BenJ

I paid $250 for mine and the guy met me halfway in Shep from Melb included in the price...

I love mine to BenJ best ever... My drivers seat is worn, like all others, but isn't worn through yet so I try to avoid rubbing against it as I get in or out...

Cheers,
Tim

Nah, it's cool mate.

Re the leather, even if you could get the same thing, it will be new, and compared to the rest will look very different.

Ok, off topic but hows this for a bargain. I got a set of EF Ghia door trims with chrome handles for $15 each. Also, on the topic of a good bargain, how about a AU V8 or Explorer inlet manifold for a 5.0L with throttle body etc for $350 about 4 years ago when they were going for $750?

As for your Ghia seats, I found any seat that came from a EA to ED have bad support in the base due to the bodgy wires that Ford used to support the foam base. Another reason why I went to EF seats with their full steel plate base - much better support.
