Hey guys i just replaced my old steering wheel on my EL Falcon with an AU momo steering wheel. however i dont know how to connect the horn as the old wheel had a clip on it to connect the horn buttons to.

i was wondering if it was possible to connect the horn to the black thumb buttons on the wheel. if possible how do i do it?

you change the horn buttons to the AU wheel . they pull out of the EL wheel and will push into the au one. sometimes the au one will have some of the rubber missing for the horn button to push into. you can use a bit of silicon/sikaflex to hold them in.

well guys i got it working. The horn goes off now once i push the little thumb buttons on the wheel. i was abit worried about touchin the electricals, incase the airbag went off.

But it was a success.
Highly recommended it is done.

nah not really
whilst u have the airbag off. connect the battery to the car again so u can have power.

With the horn wires its best buyin male connections for them to connect to the steering wheels cables.

Strip the cables on the steering wheel, test which cables are the right ones for the horn (trial and error). once thats sorted out connect the wires to the male connections and insert the male connection into the horns female connection (NO THIS IS NOT 5EX EDUCATION HERE).

Once complete unplug the battery again so u dont install the air bag wit the power to the car.

and thats bout it, if that made sense at all.

:D
