OK i have 2 subs at 4 ohms DVC and i want to wire it up to an amp @ 2 ohms. How? i got as fair as this. but how if i want the amp to be at 2 ohms. i bet this is gonna be so simple to lol :?

Are they single coil or twin voice coil subs?

Your out of luck, you will only be able to go down to 1 ohm but not 4, which if you amp doesnt support it. Just run it at 4, less distortion anyways :D

If you want to run the amp at 2ohms you will need to run a single 4ohm DVC sub or 2 2ohm DVC subs.
Hope that makes sense.
Not knowing the brand of subs and amp the sound quality will most likely not be effected between 4ohm and 2ohm unless you are wanting a pure sound quality set up.

Also keep in mind that just because you will be running more power at 2ohms dosent mean the subs will be greatly louder, your set up will only be as good as the install - The sub box, correct size and so on.

Yea, Remember that (as a rough guide) that to gain 3db you need to double the power of the amp. And as Get to the Gone said, the box will determine a lot of the sub woofers characteristics
