I am with NRMA and have the whole 30mm crap..
being under 25 i tried shannons, gio, suncorp, aami and none would touch me with the ride height and the extractors. Spoke to just car and they wanted 400 more then NRMA and would only insure the car with lowered, rims, exhaust system and stereo for 8g combined.. I figured f**k them so i lied my a*** off to NRMA and will get it raised slightly..

mine is lowered 2.5inches and i had to tell em 1.5..
will get it raised just incase of an acco.. cant afford to have insurance refused. i really dont understand the reason.. can someone explain it to me cos im lost. They charge u more for having lowered car = better cornering stability and for having fatter tyres = more rubber surface touching the road.. The way i see it it helps ur chances of not having an acco.. does anyone know why they have these rules?? is there a proper reason or is it just to f**k ppl who have modified cars in the a***??
