hi, i just recently bought a 93 xg panelvan and am wondering if it is ex police of just privet sale. its a 4 spd clm shift auto with disc brakes all round and a bracket on top where mabey a cb radio or somthing was mounted. eny ideas?

ive just picked up an ex police ute. its an xf and on the compliance plate its stamped with option 36. has your panelvan got that?? also if you give the ford customer service centre a call, quote ya vin number and they will tell ya what ever ya want to know bout ya van. hope this helps

is there eny other way i can tell if it police or not and also when i start her up theres a squeeling sound i thought it was a belt but as soon as the fan kicks in it goes away,
ideas?

Have a look on the roof and see if you can make out the outlines of any numbers or letters faded into the paint, also on the insides of the barn doors there should be a s**t of holes drilled in them from the mesh over the windows nd they only have the 2 back vents on the roof, so they had room for the siren/lights up the front.

Missus's dad has 3 or 4 of them he's bought from the auctions over the years lol
