Ride: el xr8

Location: canberra
ACT, Australia

Hi all

my xr8 has a problem changing from 1st to 2nd after driving it past 2800-3000rpm. I'v tryed double cluching because i thought it was my sinkro but thats not the the case. A mate of mine recons its a common fault but with my faith in ford i choose not to beleve it. Dose anyone no whats going on or is it really a common fault.

Cheers

How old is the clutch? Sounds like the pressure plate is dying
