Tailshafts were the same in the e series, are they different in the AU?

Cheers

Im assuming so. The manual is about 5-6 cms longer than the auto from bellhousing to output shaft. The auto tailshaft doesnt look like it has an extra 5cms of freeplay. Its got about 2cm left before it bottoms out.

Fair enough mate. If your hard pressed to find one, give Fox Parts in Comley St, Nth Sunshine,(03) 9312 3611 a call, they might have one or be able to dig one up for you. They have helped me out not so long ago with an AU manual flywheel, i called many wreckers & they were the only one's who had one.

Cheers
