hi guys, im looking at buyin a 2005 xt ba, it is blue but has black engine bay... is that normal??

yeah afaik thats the way they are, my bf xr8 and the old girls ba futura are blue with black engine bay

I think this trend of not painting the block and colouring the engine bay started on the EL hybrids.

yeah nothing not normal. u will find the underside of the bonnet is the same colour :)

It is hit and miss with AU-BF Falcon's and a coloured engine bay.

Yea, generally, some AU's and BA's got coloured bays, but alot got flat black
