So my car is a 1991 EB1 with 95 model 4 litre block/flywheel and clutch ,3.9litre head and CFI. What a bitser !!!!!! goes good anyway...the thing I dont understand is that the engine serial number is the same as the ID plate chassis number, how is this possible?............just checked again and the engine serial numbers are not evenly stamped or in a straight line, sound suspect? or are you allowed to restamp an engine...I'm thinking not but vicroads has inspected and given the green light. Where is the engine number stamped?????....EA to ED was stamped near water pump.....EF onwards..stamped on lower right of engine block at the rear. They were a bit up & down with the stamping, till they went to the dot-matrix ( very hard to read ).

Takes a lot less money to make a six boogey than a E Series V8. I know whta I would use for a boat anchor and it's not the I6. I never saw any 195kw 4Ls??? 250rwkw on 6psi, wheres the SOHC 4L that does that |

The Fairlane by Tickford came with a 195kw 5.0 litre so surely there was something else in the range as well
