Not a bad effort mate. I spent just under $500 last time i did a full overhaul of my brakes.

DBA front & rear std rotors for the EB, non ABS.
New front wheel bearing kits
Bendix General GCT pads all round
Caliper rebuild kits all round.
New brake fluid.
New master cylinder cap seal
New booster vac hose & fitting

Caliper kits for the rear were fiddley, but the front were easy to replace. I ended up saving myself about $600 bucks on what i was quoted by the brake shop.

I've gotta do the brakes in my G/f's Tx5 turbo real soon, got a quote to machine & reline for $600. Front end i can buy new disc's for not much more than cost to machine the old one's so they will be replaced, rear's are expensive & will be machined. With Bendix pads, new front discs & machine the rears i'll get away with it for just over $350. I might put in new front wheel bearings while i'm there, and replace the noisy driveshaft with a spare as well.

Cheers

Looks good, how do you find the drilled & slotted rotors? I'd love to know what you think about pad life with them, my Eb Xr8 has drilled & slotted DBA Golds on the front, in good shape now, they were there when i bought it.

I just have stock rotors on my EB Ghia. I did think about slotted or slotted & drilled, but didn't have the cash to step up when i replaced the rotors, about 3 years ago now. I have only gone thru one set of front pads & the rears will be due to be replaced soon. Gotta love having a T5 in it. :D

Cheers

T Bloke, I'll let ya know as soon as she's registurd!

Just got my reco rack to fit next week, then the $602 sticker
The fella who did me brakes gave lots of good news under the car.

1. Pedders all round, struts and air shocks on the a** (still have labels on) so not too old
2. 2 1/2 sports exhaust
3. Nice set of extractors (leak on the right bank tho)
4. drivers side sill choka with cow s**t! (bloody QLD country car)

And of course:
E series optional drooping roof liner... heh

I'll keep ya informed.
cheers
