I'm trying to install the trip computer in place of the clock on my EL futura, but theres just one thing I'm not sure how to do. I know I have to run a new wire from the trip plug to the cluster, but how exactly do i connect the wire into the plugs?

If you take the time to have a look through the Technical Documents section, located by clicking on the 'Resources' tab along the top of the web page, you will find all the information you need regarding this mod and many more.

If you are referring to adding the actual pin to the back of the instrument cluster plug, you need to release the white insert from the black surround by gently prying the black surround away from the white insert. I used some jewellers screwdrivers.
