I can agree with others here in suggesting to seeing Joe at Crescent Motors in Liverpool ... he looks after me and my LPG work ute.

A decent running venturi mixer ring system should be getting you on average 14-15L/100km around town ... that's normally what I see (about 550km for 85L)

here is my experience from driving falcons for last 5 years....

auto petrol on HWY = 8L/100...12.5km/L
auto petrol heavy city = 14.5L/100.....6.9km/L

there is a massive difference between city and highway...

for a manual expect a 15% improvement around the city....expect virtually no difference on the FWY

A properly tuned LPG system will use at least 25% more than on petrol so that makes your city consumption for an AUTO 5.5 km/L

your getting 5 so I wouldnt even worry about it...

change your O2 and check the feedback system is working....

Hi lipstick ... ford can tell you what you should get for an LPG only vehicle.
You did say it was LPG only didn't you, if so it dosen't need a cat converter and if you find an exhaust fitter that knows this he will remove it and your power and economy will go up regardless.
Now go have that 02 sensor replaced, they should be replaced every 100 thou k's just to be safe.
I believe you should be getting easy around 8 or 9 k's to the litre combined city/freeway cycle.
Check your engine temp too (the sensor for the computer not the gauge) as temp affects economy.

Never put a commodore on gas unless you want a challenge.

Epic thread mine here.....................
Dont need a cat convertor if your on LPG?
Who told you that load of crap. It is completely untrue and the cat is still required.
What challenge could fitting gas to a dunnydore be? Only challenge should be the driver being mentally challenged for driving one..........

More people paid for a ride in a VT commodore then an AU Falcon so the VT is superior.
Based on that fact my Mum is the best around!

Ride: BF3 Egas wag SY AWD Terry Ghia

Location: Brookfield
VIC, Australia

I am now driving a newish FG ute with a dedicated Egas motor and a trade box on the back. I am averaging 17L/100klm for my work days. I drive it hard as I am not paying for fuel and have a lot of city to cover. It goes like a stung cat and I cannot see a power difference between it and my territory which has dual fuel LPG injection (prins). I have not worked out the consumption of the Terry on gas? It gets about 430klm from 63L gas. I know the Terry has lower consumption as I get a simillar distance from 10L less gas used.
