Hello all, I have a AUII VCT ute and the solonoid is leaking oil. I don't have a manual that gives clear diagrams of what is there ie seals etc. Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

is it leaking from the plug on the solinoid??
if so ,its not servicable and the solinoid will need to be replaced...

G'day
Just check that it is leaking from there and not from the VCT idler pulley underneath. If the seal on the idler is leaking it tends to throw a bit of oil around and this might give the impression that the solenoid is leaking. If it is the solenoid your up for $265.

Thanks guys, I am sure it is leaking from the plug or connector end. Does this baby unscrew easily without removing the rocker cover and vct unit itself?

Just disconnect the plug by removing the circlip and then unscrew. There is a rubber washer seal on the unit. New one just screws straight in.
