The black striping looks heaps better than the red.
Also, I like the fact that there is'nt any side skirts or front lip
Looks great....well done

THeres something about it that makes it look like a GLi but you can obviiously tell its an XR and it just looks so much better. DOnt know what though.

Very nice job, how long did it take you to do?

I like the rims, but one of my favourite things about the EF/EL XR is the red striping, i don't like the black at all in comparison, looks a bit like a GLi. Nice car though.

It seems that the reason why you don't like the black is because you now assoctiate the car with the Gli's, were when it was red you thopught XR. It's really more about how good it actually looks in application, and I think in this case the black sutis the car far better and matchs, maybe if instead he had kept the red and done the brake calipers and some other features red it'd be a different story.

that was just one of the reasons. theres nothing wrong with gli's at all, i just really like the red

I'm sure I have seen this car before - Martin did you send some pic's to the NZ tickford and FPV owners club??? - cos I'm pretty sure there was pic of your car their last newsletter.

Nice looking car all the same, esp like the chicanes and the black stripe helps give it a bit of a tough look and seperates it from the crowd.
