I have a BA MkII XR6 that has done 120,000km's... It uses on average 13.5L/100km's.

Ive been told that if I replace the o2 sensor, this should make my fuel efficiency improve.

What I would like to know is:

1. Is this true?

2. Do I actually need to replace it???

3. What is a o2 sensor?

Nah i drive my car fairly softly... but it is in alot of stop, start traffic in peak hour times.

So that would be the reason for high fuel consumption.

02 sensors on falcons are only good for around 100000km, id replace it.
