ok i have struck a bit of a problem i bent my trans lines in my ef xr8 getting the engine out, i cracked the s**t with them trying to get them back in and snapped them and threw them accross the workshop so i need some new ones. my question is for starters which way do the lines run? as in where? between and through what? as i cant really remember (if anyone has pics that would be awsome) and are they the same as the ef 6 cylnders? or are they the same as a eb v8? cheers

I was told on another forum the the lines from the 6cyl will fit, easy to believe for the EF-EL series anyway. I dont have any pictures for you but when you get your new ones, it will be clear which way they go in as they are exactly the same side by side until you reach the transmission where there will be a longer pipe to suit.

ok so the tranny lines from a eb v8 will fit a ef xr8 they are a bit different at the front near the radiator but they work so problem solved
