Wasn't sure where to post this, also couldn't find the relevant Technical Documents.

My Dad's AU Fairmont Ghia 6, is chewing through 16.5 liters per 100KM, he's been all over the engine & replaced things like the Oxygen Sensor, cracked spigot on the Header tank, anything that was faulty & sometimes things that weren't, no joy.

He's recently bought an ECU & BEM (including the ignition lock & key) from an AU XR-6 & was told by the seller that he could just swap them over without needing to take it into a workshop & hooking it up to a Diagnostic Computer.

Is this correct?
Are there any Tech Documents here I could print out to help my Dad?
